Rafting - Down the Rio Grande Gorge. Rafting the Box.
Ballooning - Taos and over the Rio Grande Gorge.
Golf - Taos Country Club, Angel fire are the nearest, but there are others to try not to far away.
Hot Springs - Are dotted all over the place. Black Rock is the closest to the Casa in Arroyo Hondo.
Eating out - Plenty of good eating out places, just follow your nose. Watch out for the chili peppers.Fishing - Plenty of areas for trout fishing within 45 minutes drive.
Snowboarding - Available at all local ski resorts.Taos has opened the doors to snow boarding.
Snowmobiling - Taos ski valley, Angel fire, Red River, enchanted forest and Sipapu are the closest.
Cycling - Mountain biking with beautiful scenery, wild animals, and of course the Gorge. Tours daily, or find your own way.
Horse back riding - Ride in the Southwest majesty of the Rio Gande Gorge.
Rock climbing - Visiting such places as Tres Piedras, Comales Canyon and the legs on Questa Dome. Steep and yet with superb holds.
Ballooning - Taos and over the Rio Grande Gorge.
Hiking - The sites and smell are breath taking.The Gorge is rich in wildlife especially birds of prey such as Bald and Golden Eagles, Peregrine Falcons and Red Tailed Hawks. A Cougar was spotted at the Gorge this May.
